MQG 150 – plate for sealing of joints
Plate intended for daywork joints, with insulating surface. For reliable sealing of daywork joint – the working grids will be separated! Owing to the special layer of carborundum sand, the effect of connection with concrete is extremely high.
Characteristics
One surface of the sealing plate MQG 150 is provided with special insulating layer of carborundum sand – this one facilitates the connection between the plate and concrete and the penetration of moisture through the joint will be reliably prevented. In the area of connection, the plate MQG 150 is provided with bentonite strip (width 4 cm); this 4 cm overlapping guarantees perfect sealing of the joint.
The sealing plates dimensions: length = 2 m, width = 15 cm, thickness = 0,7 mm (approximately 3 mm including the insulating layer). The special insulating layer – elastic and non adhesive. For the rounding and edges – the plate MQG 150 may be simply adapted too the desired shape.
Owing to the natural carborundum sand used, the efficiency of connection between the sealing plate and concrete is extremely high. Elasticity of this layer provides for impermeability even during shrinkage and moving of structural members!
Application fields
MQG 150 may be used for all kinds of daywork joints – horizontal, vertical, loaded with water under pressure ow without pressure one.

Assembling procedure
Application
Put the MQG 150 into the centre of joint and fix it by means of metal plate clip BF 150. In order to achieve maximum functionality (even in the joints), bonding with the bentonite adhesive cement MQ 100 is to be performed.

Steel plate 0,7 x 2000 x 150 mm or 0,7 x 6000 x 150 mm, one side provided with insulating layer of carborundum sand.
Packaging
Plates with length 2 m = 15 pcs in pack, PE-film wrapped.

MQB 150 aktiv – bentonite based plate for sealing of joints
Sealing plate of a new generation with bentonite based insulating surface, intended for daywork joints. For reliable sealing of daywork joint – the working grids will be separated! Extremely high sealing ability in the joints – thanks to the special layer of bentonite mixture.
Characteristics
One surface of MQB 150 aktiv is provided with bentonite based special insulating layer; owing to the chemical composition, this layer is able to expand in contact with water (up to 300% increase of volume) – in this way, the safe protection against the water under pressure or without pressure is provided. Also the hairlike cracks will be sealed. The same applies for both aggressive and waste water. As the protection against weather influences (rain), the bentonite layer of MQB 150 aktiv is provided with special film; after embed in concrete and hardening of concrete (28 days), this film will disintegrate due to pH-value. In the areas of connection, the overlapping of plates (5 cm) is recommended – this will guarantee perfect sealing of the joint.

In order to achieve maximum functionality (even in the joints), bonding with the bentonite adhesive cement MQ 100 is to be performed.

Steel plate 0,7 x 2000 x 150 mm, one side provided with insulating bentonite layer (black coloured), surface protected by means of thin film. For protection during secondary concreting, the edge of MQB 150 aktiv will be covered approximately 1 cm from the edge using the adhesive PE band.

on a wooden board, 15 pcs and 2 m, wrapped by PE film. Pallet, 900 m.
